Heading for the mountains
The game thread is a bit late, just like the gametime was tonight. Aaron Cook and Ian Snell are in the process of facing off as we speak, with Snell racking up six Ks through 3 and Cook dancing through rain drops (figuratively, not anything like the last series we played) to only be down 1-0. Cook and the Rockies pitching staff have been very good at home this year, which is, you know, strange given the circumstances. It's probably the humidor thing, which has brought the park a little back to earth (the park factor was 112/113 last year according to BaseballReference, down from the all-time high of 129/129 in 1996). And of course, we'll all be expecting a full report on Coors from commenter "The Guy" who's attending several of our games out there this week.
If anyone's curious, I do have a final draft post to put up (and fairly soon), since the thing is going down tomorrow and all.
