More Bucs and Padres

I'm heading down to the park a little early tonight, so I'll put the game thread up now. Tonight we get Duke again trying to halt a losing streak before it happens. He's in a little bit of a better situation this time around, as he's not following up a loss that involved blowing a four run lead in the ninth tonight. He'll face off against rookie Mike Thompson, who's put together three pretty good starts to open his career, though it should be noted that two of those starts came in the pitcher friendly PetCo. He's a righty, so he'll probably have the luxury of facing Jeromy Burnitz instead of Craig Wilson, which is something I'm sure he's thankful for. This is a pretty important bounceback game for the Bucs if they're looking to prove that they're a different team from the April/May Pirates.
