Strategy?

With the bats not hitting and rain on the horizon, Lloyd elects to replace Kip after a leadoff homer to Tejada. Maybe this is strategy hoping that the rain will come before the O's can get back in the game. That or Kip has thrown 95 pitches, the 95th of which was a laser into the left field bleachers. Yeah, it's probably that.
