Enough is enough

Ok, enough complaining about the ownership for me. After all, I made this thing to talk about what I love the most, and that's Pirates baseball.

Looks like Wiggs is back in the lineup yet again tonight. Lloyd is also playing Craig Wilson in left and Bay in center for the second time in four games. I think that Mackowiak may be officially demoted to bench, and I don't like that. Craig Wilson seems to have turned into a hitting version of Kip Wells and Kris Benson, someone that will never get all the way there for the Pittsburgh Pirates. His head isn't into it this year, and having Bay in center and Wilson in left is a HUGE defensive liability. I mean we're talking a giant gaping hole in the outfield with those two in left and center. Not only is this team historically offensive offensively, but they aren't a good defensive team when they play Wigginton, Wilson in left, and Bay in center. Not to mention that Mackowiak is one of the few players that looks like he cares about baseball on the team. As much as I hate to say it, Craig Wilson is screwed up and Daryle Ward is hitting. Neither is an outfielder, so one needs to be on the bench. On the bright side it looks like Josh's Foggy ear survived the plane ride to Houston and he's going to make the start. Of course he's been pretty bad lifetime against the Astros, so we could've used him against the lefty-killing Giants lineup, but hey, I'm not exactly the manager.
