Going for the sweep

It would be really nice to see the Pirates break out the brooms here. Paul Maholm has been pretty not crappy lately and Mike Bacsik really isn't that good, so we've got that going for us. We've been playing pretty well since our crappy American League road trip ended, which is also kind of a nice thing to see.

Two quick notes, we put Chris Duffy on the DL yesterday and called up someone named Matt Kata, whom I had actually never heard of before. Also, Zach Duke will miss a start next week and maybe more with elbow inflammation. Which is pretty predictable given the way he's pitched lately and the fact that he was a Pirate pitcher we were excited about.
