If you missed it, here's yet another reason why Dejan's Q&A is always one of my favorite Pirate reads of the week:

Q: Dejan, whose idea was it to bring in that punkish band for SkyBlast? While I enjoyed their music, I think it was an exceedingly poor choice in style of music for an event like that. That style of music probably plays to 10-15 percent of the people in attendance. Hence, the boos.

My only regret was that the Dead Kennedys did not reunite for an evening. From the sound of it, Jeff, you and I might have been the only ones to appreciate a mass-audience rendition of "Holiday in Cambodia."

Also (and I meant to post this yesterday), what you've heard is true. Randall Simon has been traded to Philadelphia and is on their big league roster. Somewhere Dave Littlefield has just fired someone for not telling him this was an option while Xavier Nady breathes a sigh of relief.
