The last of the afternoon games

If you thought Jim Tracy was trying to drive you insane the last two days with the Duffy/McLouth duo at the top of the lineup, he's outdone himself even further today. Freddy gets the day off today and Joe Randa gets the three slot in the lineup, making the top 3 Duffy, Wilson (who no longer needs an initial, unfortunately), and Randa. Ugh. The Cubs send Rich Hill to the mound to face off against Ian Snell today. While Snell has been the closest thing we've had to an ace all year, Hill has been pretty terrible. Instead of describing it, I'll let the numbers talk for themselves. Maybe Tracy figures that Hill has been so bad he could bat Snell third and still win, though we should keep in mind that Mark Prior (who'd been just as bad as Hill before yesterday) beat us, and that we are the Pirates, so nothing is a given.
