Immovable forces
Career-wise Zach Duke has owned the Cubs (4-0 in 4 starts, 1 shutout, 0.56 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, .216 BAA) and Mark Prior has owned the Pirates (6-1 in 11 starts, 2.43 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, .220 BAA). This year, Mark Prior has sucked something awful (0-5, 7.20, 1.66, .268) and Duke hasn't really been that much better (7-9, 5.28, 1.60, a whopping .309). Clearly, one thing will have to change for each pitcher today. At least in Duke's last start he pitched very well against the Giants (6 and 1/3 4-hit shutout innings) until the monsoon came. Prior really hasn't done much good this year since his return from injury, but in 2006 the Pirates have had a way of changing things like that.
