Roundup

Burnitz and Randa wouldn't mind being traded. I assume that's because it would be quite an ego boost for the bums. I can't really imagine someone wanting to trade for them, but I wouldn't mind them being traded either.

I forgot to point out the obvious when talking about last night's game... we no hit the Mets for the last eight innings and still found a way to lose. That's pretty impressive. Also, El Duque threw a pitch that crossed the plate at 51 mph. Most Little Leaguers can top that.

Off-topic (assuming that the Pirates are on topic), but has anyone been following the Jose Canseco story lately? He's decided to make a comeback in the independent Golden Baseball League out west (think Washington Wild Things type level), played one game as a pitcher/DH (what a combo) for the San Diego Surf Dawgs, then demanded a trade because of child custody issues. Oh, and he's more or less also directly accused Major League Baseball of covering up positive steroid tests when major stars are involved. And as Deadspin points out, Jose is actually more trustworthy than the Commissioners Office on this one.
