Escape from New York

I'm gonna be busy tonight so the game thread has to go up early. The Bucs try to get out of New York with a split tonight, and they'll be sending Tom Gorzellany out to try and do it. I kind of feel bad for the kid, his first two starts this year are against the Mets and the Tigers, a potential World Series matchup (at least from the comfort of early July). He'll try and build on his solid start against the Tigers last Saturday, though I'm sure everyone would be happy to see more than five innings out of him tonight. His mound opponent is Steve Trachsel who's been around forever and has been the same 12-10 4.30 ERA guy his entire career.
