It's official
Kip Wells and the Bucs confirmed today what was pretty much a foregone conclusion, that Kip will be having surgery to clear up his blocked axillary artery. According to that article, not much is known about how extensive the damage in Kip's arm is, but as for now the plan is to take a long vein from his leg and replace the blocked artery, giving it a little bit extra length to avoid future damage. A rib may or may not need removed, and Kip is admitted he's out at least two months, but isn't setting his sights on anything until after the surgery. Littlefield has some quotes in the article and there's not really any indication he's planning on cutting Kip, which I'm not entirely certain they could do anyways.
Anyways, here's hoping all goes well for Kip next Monday when he goes under the knife. Once that's taken care of, I agree with Kip's assessment, we'll go from there. Until then though, nothing else really matters.
