Brewers 6 Pirates 5- There goes that

Well, so much for that. I guess if you're going to assure you're the most futile franchise in Major League Baseball the only way to do it is blow a five-run lead. I only saw the first part of the game, you know, the part where we scored a bunch of runs and Ollie was busting the Brewers in with 95-mph fastballs on the hands. Of course even then you could see he didn't have his control and he had no more than 5 innings in him. After that it was up to Rick White to let some inherited runners score, Grabow to put a couple more on the board, and Vogelsong to prove almost everyone right (and me wrong) by closing out the with a couple more runs.

Also, for anyone not watching the game, they replaced 10,000 square feet of sod in center that was torn up by the Stones concert. Just an amazing job by the PNC grounds crew to have everything ready in less than two days from the end of the concert to the baseball game.
