The Stats Geek says don't give up hope just yet Pirates fans! Today, he more or less says that thanks to the resurgence of Daryle Ward, Mackowiak's brilliant bat, and Redman's great pitching (all things that could possibly, more or less, continue through the year), the team is much better than people expected and .500 is certainly not out of the question, especially if we can get through this rough stretch in June alive.
